Rules
1. Race held under the auspices of ASA and CGA
2. Registered athletes must be a member of a club affiliated to ASA and wear official club colours and a 2010 licence on the back and front of the vest
3. Competitors must be 13 years or older on the day of the race
4. Athletes competing for category prizes must wear numerical age category tags on the back and front of their vests
5. Proof of age for race winners will be required and must be presented to the referee. Prizes will be withheld until confirmation is received
6. International athletes must provide a clearance letter to the referee in the event of their winning a prize
7. Temporary licensed athletes must wear plain clothing with temporary licence on the back and race number on the front
8. Athletes indemnify the national, provincial and regional sponsors and organisers of the race against all or any actions of any nature whatsoever arising out of their participation in the race
9. It is the responsibility of each athlete to ensure that he or she is medically fit and healthy to participate in this event
10. Walkers are welcome but there will be no walkers' prizes
11. No roller blades, cyclists, wheel chairs or mechanical devices are allowed in the race
12. No seconding allowed
13. Participants must obey all marshals and traffic authorities. Failing to do so will result in immediate disqualification
14. Results available 14 days after the race on www.raceresults.co.za
15. R5 of every entry will be donated to charity
16. Only athletes who fill in all the info on their tearoff strips are eligible for prizes
